LOVE STORIES

A woman, who was already beating her at seventies, entered a clothing store. I had my hair all messy, clothes pretty worn, and some old huaraches on my feet. In the hands I carried a wrinkled order bag and in the eyes, a fatigue of those that, however much you want, you can't hide. As soon as he walked through the door, the two employees turned around.

- That lady is not even going to buy anything... - Sure, he just came to check (to see). The lady low-key asked if they had party dresses. The saleswomen looked again and one of them, almost unable to conceal the mocking tone, told him:
- And why are you looking for a dress like that, madam? Look, the clothes here are branded and quite expensive. The lady didn't even say a peep. He just looked down. But he didn't go; he started checking the hooks very slowly. And all of a sudden, it stopped. She grabbed a red dress, taped it to her chest and smiled tenderly:
— This one... this mero is the good one. The employees looked at her with disdain. One of them approached him: — Did you see the label?... Is he almost enough to pay for it? Without saying a word, the woman took out an old envelope from her bag and emptied all its contents on the counter.
They were pure banknotes and coins; some pesos were all wrinkled and others already unpainted. But it was the right amount. The price is right. The store went completely silent. — And who's the dress for?... — asked the employee, already in a softer voice.
The lady looked up. Her eyes were welling with tears. — To my daughter. Today she would be 18 years old. I had her when I had already lost all hope of being a mom. Doctors told me it was an impossible miracle... but my baby girl came thru. Two months ago God took her away.
But I promised her... that on her birthday I was going to buy the dress she liked the most. And this one... this was her favorite. She showed it to me in a photo... back then. Something to think about: Sometimes we judge people at first, without having the slightest idea of the pains they carry in the soul.
We only look at appearances and lose ourselves from the very main thing: love so immense that a heart is capable of giving... even when he's left all alone. Via: comfort.
