IF THE NARCISSISTS ARE SO FEW......

IF THE NARCISSISTS ARE SO FEW......

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PPL TRYING TO RECOVER FROM ONE?.

Estimates about Narcissistic Personality Disorder tend to vary between relatively low percentages of the population. And yet... millions of people describe surprisingly similar experiences. • Confusion.
• Anxiety. • Hyper Vigilance. • Loss of identity. • Constant self-doubts.
⸻ So the question is: Math doesn't add up? ⸻
Maybe we're asking the wrong question. Because it's not about how many narcissists are there. The question is how many people can one affect. ⸻
Imagine a single person repeating the same relational pattern over and over again throughout their life. • Idealiza. • Use it. • Devalue.
• Guilt. • Discard. And it begins again. Now imagine repeating that pattern for decades relating to others since:
•the manipulation, •the control, • the need for validation •the inability to take responsibility.
Which uses others to regulate their self-esteem This does NOT affect just one couple. It can also affect: • To your children.
• To your expares. • To their relatives. • Colleagues at work. ⸻
Suddenly we don't talk about a person anymore. We're talking about an expansion wave. ⸻ And there's something else.
Not all harm comes from a person diagnosed. Often harm comes from severe narcissistic traits. Because one person does not need to meet all the clinical criteria of a disorder to leave a profound imprint on the life of another. ⸻
This is why healing communities look so big. Not because everyone has experienced exactly the same thing. But because psychological damage often leaves strikingly similar wounds. ⸻
So this isn't a matter of labels. Not even fighting over statistics. It's a matter of impact. Understanding how much damage a destructive dynamic can cause when repeated for years.
The question was never: “How many narcissists are there?” ” The question is: “How many people have had to rebuild themselves after meeting one? ”
