Little by little...

We drifted apart, Little by little... Phone stopped ringing, Little by little... Messages didn't come anymore, Little by little... There were no more nice words, Not much less verses in my mouth, Or props running down her back. Little by little... The silence became so long, That a gap was made between the two, we forget the promises, The vows we made together, We forget those special moments, And in the afternoons when we used to go for walks. Little by little... The excuses to see each other, They are finished, The insomnia is gone, It was no longer necessary to reveal myself, Coffee is no longer our favorite drink, And that intimate moment, When our souls met, He stopped being special, To become oblivion. Little by little... We stop seeing, That today we can go face to face, And we're just two strangers, Like anyone we see on the road, Without stopping us, Without causing a smile, The twinkle in the eyes is out, And what to say about the sighs, The soul has been shut down, And the heart stopped beating. Little by little... We forget who we were, And now we're just, A sad memory that peeks in the fall, When the leaves of that tree fall, Where more than once .... we ate each other with kisses.
