Sometimes life changes our plans in the middle of the way. What we thought would surely crumble, the doors we thought were open close and we end up in places we never thought of going. And it hurts.
Because one cares about the ideas he builds up in his mind.
With the dreams, the expectations and the ways he imagined that everything would happen.
But life doesn't always follow our maps.
There are moments when you have to stop, take a deep breath, and accept that the path has changed.
Not because you failed, but because perhaps destiny had something different prepared for you.
Adapting isn't giving up.
It's understanding that even detours can lead us to necessary places.
Sometimes we lose something we wanted because later on we'll find something we needed.
And although change scares at first, it often ends up teaching us strengths we didn’t know we had.
Life rarely happens exactly as we plan.
But that doesn't mean it stops making sense.
Some of the best things come disguised as delays, goodbyes, or unexpected paths.
That's why when everything suddenly changes, don't get so desperate.
Breathe.
Adjust your steps.
Restart as many times as necessary.
Because God sees ways that we still don't understand.
While you're crying over a closed door, maybe He's protecting you from something or guiding you to something much better.
Trust does not always mean understand.
Sometimes it means moving forward even with doubts, believing that even this detour has a purpose.
And maybe one day you will look back and find that what seemed to ruin your plans.. I was actually accommodating your life.
I liked it a lot ©️ D.R.
